Sto parlando del famosissimo scrub all'albicocca di St. Ives!

Today I want to talk you about an amazing scrub that I've been using since last year: the famous St. Ives apricot scrub!
Did you know that this scrub is Gigi Hadid's holy-grail? :O

Tempo fa da Boots (per chi non lo sapesse è un drugstore britannico), notai questo scrub e, ad essere sincera, non mi attirò molto.
Dopo un po', decisi di provarlo e... come ho fatto a vivere senza questo scrub prima d'ora?
Ho provato tantissimi scrub e devo dire che questo, assieme all'Ocean Salt di Lush, sono i migliori in assoluto!

The first time I came into Boots, I noticed this scrub and all I could think was "meh".
After a while, I decided to give it a try and... wow! I was so impressed!
I have tried so many scrubs and I have to admit that this one, together with the Ocean Salt by Lush, is one of the best scrub ever!

Cosa dicono di lui: "Spazza via dal viso olio e residui che potrebbero portare alla formazione di punti neri e imperfezioni. Aiuta a liberare i pori. In soli sette giorni, avrai una pelle più sana."

What it claims: "Lifts away surface oils and dirt that can lead to blackheads and blemishes. Helps prevent blackheads and unclogs pore. Promotes healthier-looking skin in just 7 days."


Cosa ne penso: dopo averlo usato, la mia pelle è super luminosa e purificata! Non è un caso che sia il migliore scrub del Regno Unito!

What I think: after using it, my skin is so glowy and purified! It is not a case that it is Uk's number 1 scrub! I couldn't agree more!


Faccio questo scrub una volta a settimana o ogni due settimane.
Non lo consiglierei per un uso quotidiano né a pelli troppo sensibili (a differenza dello scrub Neutrogena "Visibly Clear") in quanto i granelli sono molto spessi e potrebbero far arrossare la pelle.
Inoltre, contiene anche acido salicilico che ha proprietà anti-infiammatorie, calma la pelle e previene la comparsa di brufoli e punti neri (di solito è utilizzato per curare l'acne, ma ha anche potentissime proprietà esfolianti!).

I use it once a week or once every two weeks.
I would not recommend it for a daily use or for sensitive skin (unlike the Neutrogina "Visibly Clear" scrub) because it contains grounded apricot pits and it may be a little bit too harsh for your skin.
It also contains Salicylic Acid that has anti-inflammatory properties and calms down your skin and prevents breakouts (it is used to treat acne and it is a powerful exfoliator too!).
